Tagvenue Hiring for Finance Team Leader Job at Remote Full Time

We launched in mid-2015, and within a short period, we achieved a market leader position in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Canada and we’re expanding fast in the US.

We’re currently hiring a Finance Team Leader to join our finance team. In this role, you will lead operations and projects within the Finance & Accounting domain at Tagvenue. You will have a chance to enhance your finance expertise for foreign markets (UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, USA, Singapore). You will be able to broaden your knowledge about taxation rules (especially in the UK market), managerial accounting and financial reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving the process of month-end/year-end closing and preparing monthly & quarterly financial reports (P&L and cash flow statements)
• Forecasting monthly, quarterly & annual results as well as working together with key participants to compile team budget
• Monitoring internal controls and recommending cost-reducing solutions
• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT and annual reports
• Collaborating with both Polish and UK accountants on a regular basis
• Supporting founders in managing the relationship with Investors
• Assisting founders with legal and contractual matters

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Polish (C1/C2 level)
• Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets
• Strong interest in the Finance and accounting area, proven by reading books, additional courses, certificates and other self-development initiatives
• Passion for learning and self-development in the Finance area
• Great attention to detail combined with creative thinking – you can proactively propose solutions to different kinds of problems
• Professional approach to confidentiality

WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS

• At least 2 years of experience working for one of the Big 4 companies
• Experience in using Xero accounting software
• Proficiency in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)
• Experience in software or tech companies
