Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join their Sydney Office on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager and Regional Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the APAC finance team with a genuine path of long-term succession planning into key senior roles. With excellent training, mentorship, and your detailed understanding of Accounting Principles and Standards you will be provided the tool to succeed in this stable business.

The role:

• Budgeting
• Preparation and submission of project(s) budgets within requirements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the finer details are correct
• Ensure that all information is verified and correct to ensure accurate decision-making during project(s)
• Prepare annual budgeting and forecasting within strict time constraints
• Preparation of monthly regional budgets
• Reporting
• Prepare monthly regional reporting for monthly cashflow, profitability, variance analysis and controls
• Preparation and submission of key finance figures of month end reviews and provide commentary
• Provide and respond to key figures by Country Managers
• Analysis
• Prepare analysis for Regional and Country Managers including counts, revenue, VAS revenue and cost.
• Assist with CAPEX and feasibility options form future projects
• Compliance
• Ensure all accounting principles and standards, company compliance and regulatory compliance are upheld to the highest standards
• Provide diligent controls are in place to ensure a high internal audit rating is met
• Ensure all internal audit queries are answered and completed within the required timeframe
• Ensure the fixed assets registers and controls are in check and up to date
• Conduct random internal audits to ensure a high level of diligence is always upheld
• Other duties
• Maintain vendor, facilities agreements, and ISO trackers for the APAC region
• Ensure Treasury compliance
• Check over all agreements and supplier/facilities and ensure correct
• Preparation of monthly accounts receivable reporting and meet collections targets
• Continuous improvement towards better new and existing processes
• Review sales figures monthly before submission
• Leadership
• Provide fair and supportive leadership to your five direct reports across APAC
• Offer mentorship and development opportunities
• Ensure a high quality and accuracy of work is output
• Provide ongoing training

The right Finance Manager will possess:

• 8-10 Years’ Experience in Same or Similar Role
• Advanced Excel
• Large ERP System Experience
• Effectively Stakeholder Communication
• Leadership experience
• International / APAC experience
• Flexibility to attend international calls and meetings outside of standard hours
• Excellent written and verbal articulation
• Well-groomed and corporately presented
