The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Reporting Analyst to join our Management Accounting and Analytics team. Supporting the objectives of the wider Management Reporting and Analytics team you will partner with the business in developing and implementing management performance reports and dashboards utilising various BI analytical and presentation tools.

Primary Responsibilities of the role:

• Independently design, develop and improve management performance reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Create, administer and continuously improve “self service” reports and dashboards utilising Power BI.
• Utilise financial and reporting systems (SAP, Power BI) to critically analyse and comment on business results and forecasts, highlighting key items against plan and trend.
• Take the initiate to improve systems, processes and data quality.
• Contribute to project work as required including financial modelling.
• Work as a team across all key stakeholders and ensure all deadlines are met.

Being a part of the central function, the role provides exposure to a wide range of the internal business stakeholders and expects holistic understanding of business operations.

This is a full-time 12-month contract role, with possibility of extension. Nirimba campus (Quackers Hill) location preferred, however negotiable within NSW.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Business related discipline with significant demonstrated experience in the provision of financial/business advice supported by insightful analysis and visual presentations within a complex organisation.
• Solid understanding of Accounting concepts
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with manipulating and interpreting large datasets.
• Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI (DAX), MDX.
• Strong experience in creating visual presentations in Power BI
• Well organised and detail-oriented, with a high sense of accountability and integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and able to adapt and prioritise work.
