Finance Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Finance System Support Officer (known internally as Finance Officer) is responsible for actioning customer finance and systems enquiries and transactions to provide effective and efficient systems and transactional support services to TAFE NSW.

Within this role you will reconcile General Ledger accounts, create and process journals and follow existing policies and procedures to ensure a consistent approach to the completion of varied tasks. You will use your technical expertise and strong client service skills to provide responsive, reliable, and respectful support to a diverse group of internal clients.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will combine your technical problem-solving skills and excellent verbal communication to undertake effective incident/problem investigation and resolution in a geographically dispersed environment.

Additionally, you will need to be personable, motivated, have great people skills and a can-do attitude, be self-directed and able to complete tasks efficiently on time. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and evolving environment and can adapt to change well.

Ideally you will have a working knowledge of systems such as SAP, learner databases such as One EBS, Content Manager (electronic document records management system), Service Now, SharePoint and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
