This is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Construction Team at Bathurst Campus.

As an Education Support Officer within the Construction teaching section, you will be responsible for a range of tasks and student assistance activities, which directly and indirectly supports learning and enhances the educative process.

If you have…

• Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications in the relevant discipline and a commitment to maintain technical currency, demonstrated by:
  • Certificate III in a relevant Construction Industry or equivalent skills and knowledge of the industry
  • 3 years relevant Construction industry experience
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team
• Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students
• Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
