T-Ports specialises in innovative solutions for the export of commodities, partnering with customers and investors to use a flexible model that positions port infrastructure close to the product’s origin. T-Ports operates grain bunker operations across the Eyre Peninsula with a Transhipment vessel the MV Lucky Eyre operating out of Lucky Bay.

Position Overview


T-Ports are looking for a seasoned recruiter for this newly created position. We are offering either a full time or part time position depending on your needs, with the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends from time to time to support operational needs. T-Ports talent acquisition specialist with the focus on helping the organisation hire top talent in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering with leaders within the organisation to track ongoing hiring needs of their business units.
• Managing end to end recruitment of open roles, including high volume recruitment. Understanding business needs, drafting position descriptions, sourcing, and screening candidates, conducting candidate interviews, and managing the recruitment process with various stakeholders, reference checking and offer management.
• Achieve and exceed hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
• Industry award interpretation ensuring T-Ports compliance to all workplace legislation.
• Support the business by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program, guiding managers on candidate selection, conducting, and analysing exit interviews and recommending changes.
• Implement and maintain a sound recruitment strategy to ensure T-Ports have sufficiently qualified and grain harvest seasons and shipping operations.
• Implement and manage a salary schedule for the business by conducting periodic salary benchmarking and scheduling.
• Maintain good employee records.
• Implements and maintains a smooth onboarding process.
• Provide assistance to the operations management team and establishes a close liaison all team members.
• Assists in the management of safe manning levels on the vessels in accordance with AMSA regulations.
• Implement and maintain a strong recruitment strategy to ensure T-Ports have sufficient experienced staff for annual harvest and shipping operations.

Key Position Requirements

• Prior experience recruitment experience in the grain and/or marine industry.
• Experience in developing talent pools to enable optimal selection decisions
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with & influence stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Good exposure to using applicant tracking software.
