Systems Plant Services Inc. D/B/A The Systems Group seeks Project Engineers to work in the Smyrna (Nashville) TN area, incl: 877 Seven Oaks Blvd, Suite 500, Smyrna TN, 37167. DUTIES: Responsible for systems engineering of the piping systems relating to Spray-Cooled equipment & creation of P&ID drawings; Equipment design & review; selection of supporting technologies; assist w/ field commissioning of new equipment & verification of customer water systems; laser scanning and field measurements; lead R&D efforts; calculate gas temperatures and energy efficiency of Spray-Cooled equipment. TRAVEL: Short trips no longer than 4 days in length to visit job sites to client locations in Texas, Indiana, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, & Illinois. Travel would account for between 15% – 25% of time, based on customer need. REQUIRES: Bachelor’s Deg in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field; & at least 6 mths exp in a CAD Modeling Technician, Mechanical Engineering Intern, Mechanical Engineer, or closely related position.
