Systematiq Accounting Hiring for Accounts Payable Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

Position Summary
Maintains the primary accounting systems and records for our clients. Strong leadership and communication skills. This position requires you to work from home with flexible hours but dead line driven.

Accounts Payable

• Monitor and respond multiple email inbox
• Manage accounts payable department

• Review and post accounts payable invoices to accounting software

• Create aging report for client’s approval
• Collaborate with client regarding vendor payments

• Issue vendor payments

• Reconcile vendor statements given with accounting software, this will ensure all credits, return, over payments have been accounted for

• Complete vendor credit applications as necessary

• Manage vendor relations with payment information and invoice discrepancies

• Record and reconcile credit card accounts
• Review transactions for unusual activity or potential fraud and communicate any findings with management

Experience Related Capability Requirements

• Requires 2 years of Accounting experience
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Background in hospitality /restaurant industry
• Strict attention to detail
• A general knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with QuickBooks and other related software
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
