About The Job

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can perform a variety of generalist, marketing-related functions with the goal of increasing Systel brand awareness and generating a high volume of quality leads for the Sales organization. This is a new role at Systel and will to the Director of Demand Generation. You are not expected to have more than a basic understanding of computing but must have the aptitude and eagerness required to gain in-depth knowledge of computing products, related technologies, and their applications across a variety of industries.

This job will be conducted from our Sugar Land, Texas office. Subject to Systel needs, meeting initial training requirements, and maintaining productivity expectations, the employee may be eligible to work from home up to two days per week.

The Work

• Creation, maintenance, analysis, and ing of digital marketing efforts including: 
• SEO 
• SEM 
• Paid and Organic Social Media Marketing 
• Email Marketing 
• Display Ads 
• Coordination and support of several annual tradeshow exhibits and other in-person events 
• Coordination of magazine print ads and other traditional marketing channels 
• Participation in website content posting and maintenance using WordPress 
• CRM data input 
• Website and lead source analysis using Google Analytics 
• General Marketing and Sales team support, communication, and coordination
• Maintaining content calendar to include social media post topics and schedules
• Occasional content writing and editing to include website copy and blog posts
• Occasional research and interviews with internal subject matter experts for the purpose of writing and editing promotional copy
• Occasional travel of 5% to 10% (negotiable) to support field sales and marketing events

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Marketing, Communication, or related
• At least one year’s experience in performing marketing-related duties in a professional environment
• Proficiency in two or more of the above-listed marketing channels 
• Proficiency in website analytics, especially Google Analytics 
• Experience managing websites, especially WordPress 
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics 
• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign); ability to create and edit images and video

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable professional marketing experience
• Proficiency in one or more of the above-mentioned digital marketing channels 
• Highly organized 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Familiarity with popular social media platforms 
• Ability to identify online marketing opportunities 
• Proficient in English communication 
• Receptive to feedback and capable of professionally providing feedback to others
