Who We’re Looking For

The role of Vice President Commercial Finance – Carrier reports directly to the Senior Vice President Business Performance in Finance.

Some of What You’ll Do

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing finance support to the Carrier Business Unit. Leads the review and analysis of the monthly/quarterly/annual results ensuring key issues are identified and then supports the business owner in addressing the key issues.
• Is a trusted business partner who brings insights and analysis to the forecast and budgeting process, and provides support for the quarterly operational reviews.
• Assists in the development of business cases and provides all financial inputs and analysis.
• Instills a culture of performance-based management by helping the President of Carrier drive operational and financial improvement.

Who are we looking for:

The qualifications we are looking for are considered a mix of work experience and education.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Finance, business administration or similar.
• 10+ years of Finance leadership working in an international environment.
• Experience presenting to a senior audience and providing direct day-to-day support of C-level executives.

Additional Qualifications:

• Telecom industry related experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Financial Business Performance capabilities.

Soft Skills:

• Working knowledge or ability to learn company policies and procedures
• Strong customer focus with ability to professionally and courteously interact with all levels of employees
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up skills
• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and balance competing priorities is key
• This role is expected to be in the office the majority of the workweek and in alignment with the leaders and teams being supported.
