Who We’re Looking For

In this role, the PM III acts as the general manager of a product line and as such determines the product strategy on a global basis. The PM III leads all activities related to the lifecycle management and evolution of the product and makes all critical decisions affecting the product with the goal of increasing the revenues and the market share.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Determining market size and opportunities for growth for existing and new customers
• Defining, executing and maintaining product strategy
• Managing, promoting, directing and controlling product line
• Developing annual product plans
• Managing product lifecycle
• Understanding market pricing and opportunities/risks to existing and new customers. Prepare joint sales plans with the sales force
• Defining the product value proposition
• Understanding competitors, their key people, pricing, and product strategies
• Providing input into the marketing and training organizations to develop sales collateral and product documentation
• Prioritize fixes and coordinate with IT
• Meeting with customers and prospects and provide written updates to executive management
• Identifying deficiencies with the service that must be corrected
• Identifying potential ancillary services and feature functions for the product
• Developing business cases to substantiate new initiatives related to the products
• Increase revenues and market share
• Making recommendation for reduction plan to reduce product costs
• Bottom line results expected – growing the number of customers and the revenues for the product

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Product management
• 5+ year of experience working with product and software development processes

Additional Qualifications

• 5 + years Sales/Marketing experience required
• 5+ years’ experience telecommunications industry
• Project management experience preferred

• Strong customer focus with ability to interact with all levels of employees professionally and courteously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up skills

Experience working with international teams located in different parts of the globe.

This role is expected to be in the office the majority of the workweek and in alignment with the leaders and teams being supported.
