Planview Reports Developer

Synergis’ client, the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of paper-based packaging, cellulose, specialty fibers and building products, has engaged us in a search for a Planview Reports Developer to augment their current staff.

Planview Reports Developer | Background

• Applies technical expertise to implement key initiatives related to Project/Portfolio System.
• Gains understanding of the databases and data mart structures
• Help to ensure data integrity
• Help to ensure peak system performance
• Provide support to internal users with system questions
• Recommends solutions in response to customer questions
• Design, develop, test, and maintain various reports using SQL driven application table portlets and Business Objects
• Provides End user training on system to include preparing training materials and conducting demonstrations to support proper use and administration of the system
• Ensures Project/Portfolio Management system integrity by analyzing data within the application and following up on data errors, out of date data, and variances outside the target range
• Perform other related duties as required

Planview Reports Developer | Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related work experience
• 4+ years of IT work experience with an emphasis in database management
• 4+ years of advanced-level knowledge with SQL Databases
• Strong knowledge of table structures within Planview
• Experience with PowerBI a VERY strong plus
• Experience with Business Objects Report Designer
• Working knowledge of Planview Enterprise 1 application and database
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational and people skills and the ability to foster interpersonal relationships
• Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• The ability to quickly learn new software applications quickly
• The ability to successfully manage the administration of one or more systems and/or applications

Disclosure: The hourly pay range for this position is $60.00 to $90.00/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (CO), NYC Pay Transparency Law, and sb5761 (WA).
