SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Position Overview
If you can demonstrate strong relevant software development experience and proven leadership skills, we’d like to talk to you about a position as Software Development Manager. As SDM, you will be responsible for advising and coordinating the design, development, testing, and release of software for client medical devices. You will be the key development interface for product stakeholders, development team, client staff, and quality assurance. You will manage the Agile process and be the conduit between client needs and the development team at Syncro.
Position Responsibilities

• Complete understanding of the software elements and methodologies
• Management of all project plans and resource scheduling.
• Creating and managing general timelines.
• Understanding and communicating the product requirements to the team
• Establishing expectations for regular sprints
• Managing details of product features and any changes
• Provide periodic sprint demos of the project to all stakeholders.
• Resolving any potential issues that may impact schedule or deliverables.

Required Education and Experience

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or hard science, PhD or MBA preferred
• 5 + years related experience as a software developer
• 3 + years related experience successfully managing sophisticated multi- faceted software development efforts.
• Understanding of mobile and desktop development technology.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong team leadership.
• Must be flexible and be able to manage client timeline expectations.
• Energetic and balanced person with a drive for results, who owns full responsibility for the project
• Is a positive team-player.
