We are looking to recruit 2 HR Officer’s, with proven HR generalist experience, to join our expanding UK HR team, supporting our Technology businesses in the UK & Ireland. These roles will report to the Senior HR Manager for the UK & Ireland.
About the Role
As HR Business partners, providing high quality and professional assistance and support, these roles will be based in our busy and fast paced operations in Lutterworth and Hinckley and will work alongside our operational and functional management teams to ensure we meet the needs of the business, our customers and syncreon team members.
You will be actively involved in all aspects of the HR life cycle – recruitment, onboarding, retention, absence/welfare management, performance management, training and development, HR Policies and Procedures, HR management reporting and analysis, including the associated administration, whilst ensuring legal compliance. You will need to be visible and approachable for all syncreon team members and management whilst, at all times, seeking to enhance the quality of the service HR can provide.
We strive for continuous improvement, so you will have the opportunity and autonomy to propose and implement new ‘add value’ initiatives for your sites and share ‘best practice’ with our HR teams at our other UK locations including our Automotive sector of the business too.
You need to be passionate about HR, highly efficient and effective and be able to act on a tactical and strategic level, with planning, which consider immediate and long-term requirements for your areas of responsibility.
There may be some travel in the UK and occasionally in Ireland and EMEA.
Your Qualifications
3+ Years proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a logistics, manufacturing or related field
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others in a positive and constructive manner
Ability to deal with sensitive issues and counsel managers on complex HR issues
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with line managers, team members, our customers and trade union representatives
Additional education, training and/or work experience in area of specialization inherent to the position may be required
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office products and HRIS systems
Knowledge and understanding of UK employment legislation, Ireland would be advantageous
