Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Digital Workforce Initiatives will lead digital transformation efforts for Synchrony focused on collaboration capabilities around Employee Experience and enabling a digitally savvy culture for Synchrony to best meet its strategic business objectives. The VP, Digital Workforce will also help Synchrony capitalize on this rapidly changing technology environment by working with the innovation teams to explore, evaluate and deploy best in class collaboration capabilities aligning to Synchrony’s culture of innovation.

Essential Responsibilities:
Work alongside multiple departments including operations, business development and information technologies to streamline Collaboration efforts driving transformation across environment.
Lead Implementation of large scale Digital Transformations impacting 10,000 plus employee populations focused on digital collaboration.
Working with Emerging Technologies and Digital Workforce Services leadership and business teams and product owners to prioritize, develop and deliver collaboration technology programs.
Create guidelines and comprehensive communication approach for collaboration programs ensuring alignment to overall Digital Workforce transformation strategy.
Provide leadership to ensure adherence with all external and internal Compliance and Regulatory requirements; including a collaboration governance framework around customer and client data.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with all internal and external key stakeholders.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science advanced education in decision sciences/mathematics or related is strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years’ experience in software development preferably for Financial Services or FinTech
Minimum 5 years’ experience in deploying Collaboration capabilities in an enterprise technology environment, preferably for Financial Services.
Experience at expert level in Change Acceleration Process experience.
Experience at expert level in agile software development.
Desired Characteristics:
Mobility solution development and deployment experience.
Business acumen in financial services, retail banking and credit card processing is highly desirable
Skills in concept visualization, communication to both technical and general audience
Strong executive presence and communications skills.
Excellent change management skills.
Experience influencing internal and external decision-makers.
Demonstrated success leading a team with proven track record of delivering results.
Excellent people leadership skills and a proven track record of developing high potential talent.

The salary range for this position is 100,000.00 – 200,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
