Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Client Management & Technology Leader for several of our Home Industry Portfolios is responsible for driving and executing the technology roadmaps, strategies, and initiatives in partnership with both the partner and client leadership team under the Home and Auto platform.
This leader will manage a small team and provide technology leadership, client relationship, program management, vendor management, prioritization, and functional expertise for our partner. It will be essential that this leader aligns to the goals of both our partner as well as SYF’s enterprise product organization which will drive best in class customer solutions to meet client growth, productivity, and compliance objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders, including client technology leaders, product owner, developers, architects, and other stakeholders, to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication through project execution
Identifies new opportunities to drive growth and integration
Strong analytical and technical skill set used to drive requirements, testing and production validation.
Gains knowledge of the partners technical environment and processes
Responsible for wing to wing delivery of client aligned initiatives, including issue resolution and budget management
Provide escalated production support as needed
Ensures process rigor and adherence to program methodology standards, including all required project and client documentation is updated accordingly
Financial planning and ownership of program budget
Weekly project dashboard review to ensure execution & measure results
Work closely with other client project management teams to create programs across clients where applicable; ensures best practice sharing across multiple clients
Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance of application release management, outage management and change control processes and standards.
Creates, communicates, and manages the project plans and other required project documentation and provides updates as necessary. Maintains project documentation, including project charter, requirements, conceptual design, test plans, schedules, and presentations
Experience leading a team of project managers with demonstrated ability to develop team members and grow leaders within an organization.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of Information Technology experience. OR in lieu of the bachelor’s degree minimum of 10 years of experience Technology,
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience driving a rigorous program across large financial services or technology businesses.
Direct relationship experience with an external client or partner program

Superior oral, written, and client communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management, and external groups
Grade/Level: 14
The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 – 230,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
