Our Support Services Team includes People, Finance, Marketing & Client Development and IT, Systems & Facilities who provide these centralised support services to the individual companies.
PURPOSE
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage talent attraction across these businesses. The role will be responsible for attracting the right talent to the agency through all available means of direct recruitment as well as talent selection and employer branding activities. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the HR & Talent team to source, qualify, select and hire the best people for the businesses, whilst identifying opportunities for better employer branding and improvements within recruitment and selection. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a natural engager with the ability to build effective relationships across the businesses as well as with external candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support with recruitment admin such as job posting, candidate communication, interview scheduling/diary management, offer management and recruitment approvals
Make recommendations on the best channels and media type for recruiting activity
Drafting recruitment advertising content
Research and suggest external careers events/fairs to promote brand and attract candidates
Maintain recruitment reports being able to track and report recruitment data as and when required
Source and manage direct candidate applications through LinkedIn
Ensure a consistent pipeline of quality candidates are managed through from attraction to selection process
Maintain effective recruitment documentation including CV’s and interview notes in compliance with GDPR
Manage recruitment spending budget
Coaching and mentoring the Talent Resourcer
Supporting resource planning activities
Lead on the management of the process for graduate recruitment days
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be experienced in attracting and sourcing candidates and have a background in agency, in house, or RPO recruitment.
Must have knowledge of medical communications and or life sciences
Must have creative problem solving approach
Solid experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry (ideally)
Experience in hiring exceptional, high calibre, highly qualified talent with a focus on direct researching and sourcing using social and digital channels
Experience of interviewing at a high standard
Experience of establishing and negotiating employment offers
Proficient in the use of a computer including MS Word, Excel and other common online applications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work as part of a team
