Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining front end system architecture and graphical user interfaces for web product platforms. You will be owning a full web stack applications that run on desktop computers, web servers, and embedded Linux audio and control products, working cross-functionally to release software across all phases of the development life cycle. You are a leader working towards long term goals, owning your designs and code while collaborating with engineers from other disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop feature rich desktop, embedded Linux, and web applications for professional AV and Control using Electron, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and Node.
• Design and develop JavaScript APIs
• Develop embedded Linux applications and services.
• Design and develop cloud applications and services.
• Utilize Git version control using GitHub
• Implement and manage CI/CD using Azure Pipelines
• Specify and integrate desktop and web components to be developed by external development resources
• Work autonomously and independently, advocating for your position and needs
• Mentor Junior Software Developers

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field
• 8+ years’ experience in web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Electron
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and shipping web technologies and cloud applications
• A deep understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application front ends with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Having Angular experience is a plus.
• Experience implementing analytics and managing data flow for more responsive applications
• Experience selecting and integrating JS libraries for reliability and development speed
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• CI/CD experience is a plus
• Lua, Python, and other scripting language experience is a plus
• Audio/Video industry experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
