Overview

• Understanding and supporting overall branch operation, administrative functions, as well as branch and individual sales targets
• Greeting customers, answering telephones and assisting customers where possible, ensuring to provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction
• Accept orders for products and services and initiate actions required to complete tasks
• Assist in the coordination and scheduling of custom application equipment and delivery to efficiently utilize resources while providing quality customer service
• Prepare invoices for crop protection products, fertilizer and seed purchases
• Assist customers with account inquiries
• Organize grower training and meetings to support sales staff and company objectives – plot tours, customer appreciation days, etc.

Office Administration

• Maintain a clean and attractive environment in the retail area
• Assist management and sales staff with reports and presentations
• Other administrative duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree/diploma required – related to agriculture an asset
• Administrative experience an asset
• Experience in agriculture preferred
• Proficiency in various computer software and programs
• In-house and external industry training provided and required
