Sylvite is hiring for a dual General Labourer role in work in our packaging facility, and also with Hydrated and F-lime material.

Job Responsibilities

– General Labourer responsibilities will be scheduled by the Plant Supervisor which might include:

• Toting fertilizer or feed products (Specific duties will be outlined)
• Packaging of B-lime & Shell-maker 1
• General housekeeping & cleaning duties
• Covering the WH Lead duties

– Hydrated FLime responsiblilties include:

• Communicates hydrate & f-lime manufacturing specifics & plan to the labourers.
• Completes all manufacturing paperwork
• Directs bulk hydrate & f-lime loads to the appropriate unloading station
• Removes & wraps finished pallets
• Label & date stamp finished pallets as required
• Supports line set up & clean up
• Supplies the necessary components (totes, bags, pallets)
• Loads van trailers & flatbeds with finished product
• Reports and documents daily inventory of hydrate & f-lime products & a daily shipping log

– Hydrate Manufacturing Responsibilities include:

• Packaging directly involves using equipment to fill 20kg bags or totes of varying sizes, 3000-550kg
• Responsible for quality control

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for majority of shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• General Labourer experience is an asset
