JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sylvan Learning Center in Aventura/N. Miami Beach, FL is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to inspire and help our students achieve academic excellence. We are currently accepting applications for the following:

1. Upper Level Math Tutor (Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus)

When is the last time you had a chance to really make a difference with your students? We value your input and need your expertise in education to help our students be successful. We provide extensive paid training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years experience teaching Upper Level Math. SAT/ACT experience is a strong plus
• Teacher’s license (preferred not required)
• A love for teaching Math and removing motivational blocks
• Passion for Education
• Availability to teach Mon-Thu and Sat (flexible and variable schedule)

SCHEDULE:

Part-Time. Flexible schedule. Preference given to those teachers with greater availability and flexibility. You will give us your hours of availability and we will match them with our needs.
