Our Opportunity
Here at Sydney Trains, we’re expecting exciting changes as we move into 2023, and with this we’re on the lookout for multiple Part-Time Customer Service Attendants to join us on our journey working at various station acorss our network. You’ll be part of one of Australia’s largest operational service delivery teams here at Sydney Trains.
Our Sydney Trains network operates between Berowra to Richmond, Emu Plains, Macarthur and Waterfall. You’ll have opportunities to gain valuable hands-on experience in learning, practicing and understanding the daily operations of our stations while working with a passionate and committed team.
As a Part-Time Customer Service Attendant, you will be a valued member of our Sydney Trains team. Exceptional customer service and safety will be at the centre of your priorities, ensuring you’re always on the lookout for customers who might require a little extra assistance to help them safely on their journey or a smile to brighten their day.
In addition, this role will see you take on responsibilities such as (not limited to) flagging trains, using high-tech equipment, ticket sales, revenue protection, connecting with train crew as well as various cleaning tasks to ensure the station is always at its best.

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this position is $1,152.75 per week (pro rata) plus superannuation and leave loading.
We currently have Permanent Part-Time positions available working a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight. You will be required to work off a rotational roster where your days, start and finish times will vary based on business requirements.

Essential requirements
You must be available and willing to work rotating shifts including shift work, late nights, early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Extended hours may be necessary at short notice.
Please note: successful candidates will need to undertake background checks and criminal record checks.
Own transport is beneficial as some shift start times are out of train operating hours.
