What you’ll be doing
The position is an entry level position aiming to give a trainee a broad range of accounting skills from preparing & posting journals, completing reconciliations, fielding financial enquiries from departments, maintaining financial schedules to monthly financial reporting and analysis, budget management, taxation compliance and administrating restricted financial assets & private practice trust funds.
The trainee must have accounting qualification or almost completed accounting qualification.
Selection Criteria:
A degree in Accounting or nearing completion and/or recent relevant experience in Accounting.
Intermediate computer skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Proven experience in analysing financial data.
Effectively managing time and competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently and adapt to new challenges.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
