SYC Limited Hiring for Marketing and Communications Assistant Full Time – Kent Town, SA at Kent Town, South Australia, Australia Full Time

As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our Marketing and Communications team, fostering strong relationships, and adding positive energy and creativity to SYC.

This position will be based at our Kent Town Head office on a full-time permanent basis.

The Day-to-day Activities Will Include

• Providing effective day-to-day administration support, such as monitoring organisational emails, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and monitoring and processing direct marketing requests.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to brainstorm and create engaging content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases.
• Assisting with maintaining the SYC website and newsletter.
• Assisting in the preparation and organisation of various events, webinars, and conferences, including logistics, registration, and promotional materials.
• Assisting the design team in creating visually appealing marketing materials, such as brochures, infographics, and presentations.

About You

As someone with a vibrant and outgoing attitude, you will be creative with a ‘can do attitude’ and can think outside the box to maintain positive working relationships and work effectively as a team member. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to produce documentation such as emails, correspondence, and s.
• Computer literacy and experience using Word and PowerPoint.
• Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise and achieve outcomes.
• Ability to be proactive and self-motivated, with the capability to take initiative and work independently.
• Experience developing engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Basic knowledge of marketing and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

For This Role, You Will Need To Be

• Willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Prepared to work from, or be located at, any SYC site.
