Tasks

• Closely collaborate with co-founders and our developers.
• Be responsible for autonomously delivering platform innovations with our team of programmers/software engineers.
• Quickly understand and articulate customer needs and translate these into product innovations and solutions.
• Design and drive new platform product innovations.
• Communicate with our developers on a daily level and ensure timely and most cost and technology efficient solutions.
• Develop into a tech lead role driving the programming of our platform.

Requirements

What we look for (Must haves)

Task Management Expert: You will have had experience segmenting project(s) into small steps, and autonomously prioritised, controlled and reprioritised based on urgencies.

Client-centric Leader: You will have successfully led product teams and projects. Scenario planning, forecasting and mitigating issues from a client perspective is your strength.

Techie: You will have had experience working with previous SaaS type of companies or projects and know how to successfully deliver tech projects with programmers.

Project Driven: You have a strong capacity of designing a project, set milestones, deliverables under set budgets. And tight frames. You enjoy interacting with multiple stakeholders (developers, operations, clients, founders).

Agile: You know how to prioritise and are agile around new customer needs and ideas, whilst still maintaining the pace of your projects.

Entrepreneurial growth mindset: You want to move things fast, operate under the “ask for forgiveness instead of permission” principle

Can-do & solutions driven attitude: Be autonomous, dare to take decisions, have a strong hands-on and delivery mentality

1-4 years of previous experience in high paced environments, such as EdTech, other SaaS type of companies ideally with a project management angle.

What we look for (Desirables)

• Product Owner and/or project management expertise (ideally with other SaaS firms or working in Tech project management e.g. ex-Accenture/CapGemini with ability to work in start-up environment vs. large companies)
• Programming background or at least understanding of SaaS tech platforms
• Experience dealing with software engineers/developers
• Understanding of programming (incl. different languages i.e. JavaScript, Framework: ReactJS and infrastructure environments: Environment: Digital Ocean Cloud solutions)
• Highly-customer focus and knowing how to be the ‘bridge’ between customers and developers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable addressing internal stakeholders as well as clients
• A university degree in Software Engineering, Technology, Business or similar
• Fluency in English and additional languages
