Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for Teacher, Training & Assessment Job at Melbourne Full Time

Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. We are seeking a VE Teacher in Training & Assessment to inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century, through implementing industry best practice and applying current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.

In this role you will be required to:

• Teach and assess the Cert IV TAE (all units)
• Potentially teach units in the Dual Diploma VET (as required)

You will work collaboratively within a team of education professionals. Within this team environment, you will plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs.

The program is run at Swinburne’s Hawthorn and Wantirna campus, and you may be required to undertake duties at any of the University’s campuses. As such, you must be willing to travel between campuses and work at a range of locations.

About you

To be suitable for the role you will have:

• Relevant degree or vocational qualification in areas applicable to Training & Assessment including evidence of currency or related field
• Demonstrated substantial relevant work experience in teaching, especially in vocational education
• Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes
• A valid working with children’s check (or ability to obtain prior to or upon commencement)
