Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for Senior Educator – Nursing Programs Job at Melbourne Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Educator – Nursing Programs to act as Head of Discipline for Nursing with key responsibility to lead and work collaboratively within a team of education professionals to plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs. Based in the Department of Health Science & Community, the Head of Discipline will be responsible for all aspects of program delivery of the Diploma of Nursing.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Demonstrated experience coordinating academic programs, providing support and supervision of teaching staff and ensuring program compliance requirements are met in alignment with University policy and ASQA regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.

• Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.

Qualifications

• AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education

-Relevant tertiary degree – Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent degree and extensive professional experience including evidence of currency.

• Division 1 Nursing Registration

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)

OR

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the following units:

• TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor, OR

• TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills

AND

• TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, OR

• TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools OR

• TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools

OR

Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
