An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Educator – Health & Sciences at Swinburne University. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing industry best practice and applying current leaning technologies across a suite of health programs.

Leading and working collaboratively within a team of education professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of high-quality education and training programs.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Demonstrated experience coordinating academic programs, providing support and supervision of teaching staff and ensuring program compliance requirements are met in alignment with University policy and ASQA regulations
• Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs
• Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients
• Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.

Qualifications

• Suitable vocational qualification in either health or mental health
• AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) OR
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) OR
• Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
