Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for People & Culture Business Partner Job at Melbourne Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity for a true generalist in human resources to join our team of People & Culture (P&C) Business Partners responsible for providing operational and strategic advice to senior and executive leaders of the University. The role contributes to business strategies, planning and delivery by recommending and implementing initiatives that will optimise workforce performance and culture.

The incumbent will provide advice and solutions across all areas of People & Culture, including employee and industrial relations, performance optimisation, talent acquisition and management, learning and development, organisational change design and effectiveness. They will do this by drawing on their own extensive experience and the expertise from other People & Culture teams and Centres of Excellence.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need:

• Extensive experience in a similar P&C/HR Business Partnering role and a strong understanding of contemporary HR practices.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and executives and developing and implementing P&C plans and practices at a business unit level.
• Experience working in a unionised and complex
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and experience in interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in successful dispute resolution, performance management, grievance handling and mediation.
• Strong organisational change management experience, including organisational design, change planning, implementation, and communications.
• Experience delivering learning and development materials and presentations and the ability to facilitate workshops.
• A desire to drive change, initiate process and operational improvements and remove barriers to enhance the employee experience

Qualifications
Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field such as Business.
