Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for Future Students Officer Job at Melbourne Full Time

We are seeking a passionate individual to join the Marketing and Student Recruitment team as a Future Students Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for representing Swinburne’s brand in handling prospective student enquiries with undertaking targeted recruitment and conversion activities.

You will be a subject matter expert across Swinburne programs, handling a variety of student enquiries and work as part of an agile team. The role requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks and respond quickly in delivering course advice and application process assistance all while upholding a high level of customer service across both domestic and international cohorts.

In this varied role, reporting directly to the Domestic and Direct Recruitment Team Leader, you will also have the opportunity to participate in various recruitment events, delivering one to one course advice to enable conversion to enrolment.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Demonstrated experience in solutions selling and proven ability to meet sales targets
• Experience in delivering high level customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
• High level written and oral communication skills, including excellent public speaking ability
• Superior time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Familiarity with use of a Customer Relationship Management system for prospect management
• Competency with a range of software packages, including PowerPoint, Outlook and spread sheets
• Understanding of Australian educational systems and frameworks is highly desirable

Qualifications
Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and substantial subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
