In this role, you will be responsible for building Swinburne’s capacity relating to the development, coordination and delivery of WIL and associated career development learning within the higher education curriculum. This position designs and develops WIL curriculum resources; consults with staff to integrate WIL into curriculum; and builds and delivers staff professional learning opportunities and resources relating to WIL teaching. The position is responsible for providing up-to-date WIL and employability curriculum support through partnerships with Schools and other business units in the University.
The role resides within the Employability Unit within the Education, Experience and Employability Portfolio and will report to the Senior Project Manager, WIL Transformation Project. As part of this role, you will also maintain strong links with the wider Employability team and WIL academics across the institution, working to build collective capacity towards curricular engagement with WIL.
Swinburne’s Transforming WIL strategic project comprises nine work packages (to learn more please refer to the position description). You will take a leadership role in the work packages which deal with curriculum design and development as well as educator support and professional learning for curriculum implementation and delivery; co-designing and developing curriculum within WIL units across the university, and supporting academic staff to create new WIL units. You will also facilitate and curate educator professional learning relating to the delivery of WIL in curriculum, and will contribute to outcomes.
