The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education, Experience and Employability (DVC EE&E) will lead and drive strategies to create an environment of innovation and excellence in teaching and learning including blended learning, enhance student employability outcomes and high value-add industry-based experiences.

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, the role will work closely with the Executive Group and other internal stakeholders across Swinburne to lead Employability, Student Experience, Learning Transformations, Swinburne Student Life, Student Administration and Library Services

About you

Appropriate candidates for this key leadership position will have a passion for the educational experience and be committed to ensuring that Swinburne students feel they belong. They will be innovative, have a strong understanding of the student life cycle, be able to leverage technology and demonstrate the capacity to effectively communicate and advocate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Executive Group, the DVC EE&E will lead the Education, Experience and Employability portfolio
• Support the execution of Horizon 2025 and the implementation of Swinburne’s Education strategy through the implementation and continuous evolution of the Employability Strategy, including Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Blended Learning.
• In close collaboration with Swinburne’s Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor (SDVC) and Chief Academic Officer, create an environment of innovation and excellence by increasing opportunities for industry-based learning and enhancing graduate employment outcomes.
