An opportunity for an an exemplary customer focused professional has arisen within the Swinburne Professional team. The Professional Education Advisor will be accountable for providing expert advice to existing and prospective students on the courses that Swinburne offer and how those courses might enable them to achieve the career progression that they are seeking.
Reporting to directly to the Manager, Continuing Professional Education, you will also be required to:

• engage with clients via phone, email and on occasion face to face, the clients may contact us directly and indirectly through campaigns and / or our website.
• responsible for the accurate and timely data entry into the IS database to ensure that we have a record of all leads.
• engage quickly with prospective clients and work to convert their enquiry into an enrolment.
• generating revenue through sales and as such, this position has a direct sales and revenue target attached to it.

About you

You will have excellent communication skills, a dedication to providing outstanding customer service You will also need to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated, relevant experience in the inbound / outbound sales and customer service environment with proven results in the achievement of targets. Experience in an education environment will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills with a willingness to go out of their way to ensure that the customer is satisfied.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external people, and maintain confidentiality.
