Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for Application Analyst – Learning and Teaching Full Time

An exciting opportunity within the Digital Technology Delivery team at Swinburne University of Technology for an Application Analyst has become available.

The Application Analyst will work within the Learning and Teaching team and focus on integrating systems to support business process and provide data between the many applications used by the university. The focus of the Application Analyst within this team is on applications directly related to learning and teaching. The Application Analyst is expected to work in partnership with stakeholders and colleagues to implement the solutions and manage them on an on-going basis. Systems that are managed by the team include CANVAS, ALMA, and other learning and teaching applications.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Demonstrated experience in software incident management and problem management including investigation, resolution, and communication
• A strong customer service orientation with a focus on results and quality of service
• Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgement and to work independently or as part of a team to deliver outcomes within defined timeframes
• An understanding of IT governance and its processes, with a blend of business acumen and operational experience in a large-scale IT environment
• An understanding of the Australian university and VE sectors and their interrelationships with State and Federal Government processes and structures

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
