Sweet Grass Ranch Hiring for Cook/Baker at Montana Full Time

We are looking for a chef with good baking skills to join our wonderful crew for the remainder of the season until September 23, 2022.  The chef will either do the baking, or will prepare breakfast/lunch, as the two chefs may choose to work out their schedules.  Chefs are responsible for preparing meals from a pre-set menu, with some chef variations allowed, for about 20-40 people per meal.  Chefs are also responsible for inventory and keeping order lists for weekly food orders, as well as ensuring the kitchen and all equipment is clean and sanitary. The guest ranch is in a beautiful setting about 40 miles from town, and it is important that the crew are comfortable with remote locations, as well as being self-starters with lots of initiative and common sense.  We are looking for an outgoing, energetic applicant who works well with others and who is sociable enough to enjoy all the opportunities for guest interaction.  The applicant needs to be in good physical condition, able to be on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs without problem.  Pay is commensurate with experience, but we do not require formal culinary training. Grill experience is always a plus. All our crew work a 6 day per week work schedule with one day off.  The job provides a monthly salary, room and board and a share of the crew tip pool.  Housing is in a small private cabin with bathroom.
