Swanktek, Inc Hiring for Sourcing Analyst at Remote Full Time

The Sourcing Analyst will build spend analysis tools to identify areas of untapped opportunity and work with Procurement team to develop plans to attack those areas to drive cost improvement. The role will be tasked with gaining additional leverage points through benchmarking and engraining a best in class approach to sourcing events (formal stage gated sourcing process for major events, cost modeling, global benchmarking, negotiation planning tools, etc.). You’ll get to:

· Drive the sourcing process through sourcing events, with the guidance of the Global Commodity Manger, to attain optimal results for each targeted category in terms of best total cost (Cost, quality, delivery, payment terms etc.)

· Develop skill sets and reference material for “best in class” benchmarks, tools, and processes to be used as leverage points in major sourcing events (cost modeling, global benchmarking, negotiation tools, etc.)

· Lead cadence of project meetings with Category managers and Purchasing managers

· Align with finance to assure a strong approval process confirming all projects are delivering to the P&L

· Engage in external training and organizations to identify tools to enhance the sourcing process

· Five to Six year’s professional purchasing experience

· Power user of analytical tools – Excel, Power BI and database tools

· Understanding of “7-step sourcing process” or similar stage gate-based formal sourcing process

· Possess and apply a broad knowledge of Supply Management principles, practices, and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
