The Organisation
Our client is a multi-award winning commercial organisation and is now recognised for one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the ACT and surrounding region. The group comprises a number of different entities across a range of industries.

The Role
In this newly created position, and reporting to the Senior Manager and through them the CFO, you will take responsibility for the monthly financial and management reporting as well as assist with the taxation and treasury aspects of the group.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management financial reports including reconciliations and analysis of performance;
• Management of the treasury function including cash flow reconciliations;
• Preparation of the annual budget and other forecasts;
• Year-end financial reporting requirements
• Preparation of monthly BAS’s and assisting with all taxation requirements
• Managing a team of qualified accountants

About You
You will be CA/CPA qualified and ideally have significant experience in taxation, audit and/or treasury working in Chartered Accounting and/or with larger commercial organisations.

You will naturally have very strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as be a team player and demonstrate initiative and pride in your work.
