• Assisting with Council’s accounting function to meet organisational and legislative requirements including those associated with financial accounting, asset accounting, treasury management and taxation.
• Using your strong attention to detail and accuracy to perform reconciliations and audits.
• Utilising your strong planning skills with a proven ability to use resources in the most effective way to achieve outcomes.
• Having the demonstrated technical skills and experience required to perform the role successfully.

Things You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to Council’s customers.
• Assist in the management of Councils cash bonds and security deposits.
• Facilitate all end of financial year audit requirements
• Manage all allocated General Ledger Balance Sheets
• You will share your subject matter knowledge and provide assistance to the broader Finance team as required.
• You will showcase Council’s values in all that you do – Collaborate, Achieve, Respect, and Evolve.

The Fine Print:

• Package: $70,500 – $77,000 gross p.a. plus superannuation
• Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flexi time arrangement.
