The Role:

Reporting to the HR Manager, this full time permanent role will assist in providing HR support to Sushi Sushi’s entire employee life cycle that will contribute to the achievement of Sushi Sushi’s strategic initiatives.

We are looking for a talented HR generalist who is eager to learn and be challenged. This is a busy, challenging role, and a great opportunity to work in interesting and rewarding projects.

• Coordinate the end-to-end employee recruitment and induction process for all areas of business
• Provide first level support to team members on HR related matters
• Updating and maintaining Human Resources Policies and Procedures
• Preparation of employment contracts, variations of employment and maintaining HR systems
• Ad hoc HR administration and reporting

The Candidate:

• At least 2 years of previous Generalist HR experience in a similar role
• End-to-end recruitment experience, particularly high volume recruitment
• Proven ability to build relationships quickly and effectively at all levels
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), time management skills and attention to detail
• A team player with a sense of humour
• Retail HR experience a bonus
