Sushi Garden – London Hiring for Wait Staff Full Time

Happy 2023! Sushi Garden is looking for a motivated and great working individual to join the front of the house fun team. We are a well known and recognised Sushi Restaurant in South London. Our clientele is very friendly, sushi lovers who expect great service. Are you ready for a challenge but great learning experience of the Japanese sushi cousine! Come and join us!

You will be primarily responsible for assisting customers in providing an excellent customer experience during the dining-in services as well as working with the team in putting together take-away and home delivery orders.

We require some exposure to a fast paced environment with 1 to 2 years of experience. It is important that you are able to communicate, speak and write in English.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers upon arrival, taking orders, delivering in a timely manner to the table and ensuring a good dining experience for all customers.
• Learn the menu dishes, sauces and allergens to be able to recommend and answer customer questions.
• Ability to process food orders via the till, and completing opening and closing checklists are completed accurately.
• Process take away orders, by taking phone orders and attending walk-ins.
• Process payments & customers bills accordingly.
• Be a team player, and enjoy working with a diverse team. Clean clothes or uniform & good hygiene is required.
