Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract assignment
• Flexible shift scheduling based on departmental needs

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of Operating Room experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing duties for a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining patient safety and quality of care

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, patient-focused perioperative nursing care in collaboration with surgeons and surgical teams
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care throughout surgical procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain strict standards for infection control and safety protocols
• Prepare operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures
• Act as an advocate for patients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the surgical process
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, efficient working atmosphere
