About the role:

This role is to work in partnership with another year 2 teacher on a job share basis. You will be expected to share the responsibilities for planning and marking. This a fantastic role because you will be working alongside a very dedicated long standing member of staff.

You will be given a full induction and the school are very keen to start a transition period as soon as possible.

The role will start on a temporary basis with the opportunity to stay in the role long term depending on performance.

The school would be open to moving the days requested depending on the teachers needs who is applying. The main emphasis is to cause the least disruption for the class.

Experience needed

The school is very happy to except applicants from a variety of different experience levels and are open to taking on an ECT in this role. You must have excellent behaviour management skills and fantastic upper KS1 curriculum knowledge.

Interview process

Step 1

Interview with a dedicated consultant to talk through the role.

Step 2

Have meeting with the school Head Teacher and Key stage lead to talk through expectations and responsibilities. Including a walk around school.

Step 3

Trial day working with a class in year 1 in the morning for one lesson. Which you will be asked to plan and resource yourself for a class of 27.More details will be given with specific requirements closer to the date. Followed by a follow up interview with the Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher.
