Job Description

The key purpose of the Talent Acquisition Officer effectively plans and manages the talent acquisition process and systems across the Australian Operations.

What will you do?

• Develop a strong working knowledge of talent acquisition systems and platforms such as Smart Recruiters and LinkedIn.
• Work collaboratively with Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs.
• In conjunction with the relevant P&C Partner, conduct position remuneration benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness and internal relativity where appropriate.
• Advise Hiring Managers on the best recruitment strategy e.g. internal, direct, best platform, headhunting etc and agree on timeline / approach.
• Remain abreast of market developments and trends and share with P&C team and Hiring Managers.
• Draft attractive advertisements and post on relevant platforms/job boards.
• Shortlist applications, conduct telephone pre-screenings and schedule interviews.
• Ensure communications are received for both successful and unsuccessful applicants.
• Ensure candidates are kept informed of progress so as to leave a positive impression of Superloop.
• Maintain responsibility for ensuring all pre-checks are performed prior to offer (i.e. minimum 2 reference checks and police checks).
• Work closely with relevant the P&C partner to keep them abreast of developments in their client group/s and other P&C team members as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in internal recruitment.
• Experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
