Job Description

A Logistics Coordinator prepares, routes, and manages fuel inventories for typical customers of all Superior Tank Lines (STL). Logistic Coordinator’s primary role is to plan and direct the STL Driver network efficiently. Coordinators also provide excellent customer service to each customer. Strong communication skills are essential because logistics coordinators must disseminate information among drivers, customers, and the leadership team. Logistics coordinators typically plan the entire delivery process from start to finish. They will ensure each load is being delivered safely, and accurately and guarantee the loads tobe delivered in the requested time window provided by the customer. The coordinator will monitor station sales, prioritize loads by run-out time, plan shifts by driver qualification and maximize loaded miles to ensure the driver team has the most efficient shift. In addition, they will respond to customer inquiries and refer potential clients to the proper channels. To ensure the logistical processes are running smoothly, the logistics coordinator will constantly communicate with the Leadership team and immediately notify management of any possible issues.

• Strong knowledge of dedicated logistics software such as TMW, Telepoint, Geotab, and other inventory platforms is also necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
