We are recruiting for for an Accounts Officer to join a Finance team in Springvale on a fulltime basis. The Accounts Officer reports into the Finance Team Leader and ensures everything is kept up to date and reconciled.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Processing daily debtor payments
• Maintaining the Aged Debtors ledger
• Processing weekly store sales receipts
• Inputting creditor invoices into our system
• Maintaining the Aged Creditors ledger
• Reconciling and processing daily bank and credit card transactions
• Costing inward goods e.g. machinery and spare parts
• Helping the wider team with adhoc administrative tasks as required
• Backup to the payroll officer

Selection Criteria

In order to be successful for this opportunity, you will bring:

• A qualification in Accounting (Certificate IV as a minimum)
• Experience in accounts or bookkeeping position
• Professional communication skills with fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Previous experience in MYOB Exo is highly regarded but not essential
• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Exposure to the goods importation process is highly regarded
• Right to work in Australia
