POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting MMPA companies / Superior Dairy’s financial objectives by optimizing outbound logistics in the most efficient / cost-effective means.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and respond to carrier emails.
• Answer phone calls that come to the dispatch line.
• Check calls.
• Releasing loads in Aljex.
• Assign / Adjust appointment times and manage drop / live loads.
• Communication with Customer Service on early / late deliveries and why.
• Assist with OSD.
• Communication with the Load Out team / Warehouse manager to facilitate changes and / or opportunities for more efficient operations.
• On-call coverage rotation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma / GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation and / or logistics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
