Superior Communications Hiring for Digital Marketing Specialist at Baldwin Park, CA Full Time

SALARY: $23.00 hr to $25.40 hr (DOE)

SUMMARY

This position will support the PureGear Marketing / Digital Marketing teams with production, development, and launch of digital media assets across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Contribute ideas to social media content and strategy
• Assist with creating and managing weekly content calendar
• Strategize digital marketing campaigns and product ideation as it relates to e-commerce.
• Execute daily posts, stories, live video giveaways and monitor social media conversations
• Maintain company social media pages and profiles
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, practices, and software
• Assist with product inventory tracking as it relates to digital marketing
• Assist with content creation as it relates to photography, video/photo editing, and graphic design
• Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
• Assist with maintenance of digital file assets including, but not limited to, organization of files, file revisions, file naming conventions, and archiving
• Collect and segment customer database, create & trigger promotional email marketing via Klaviyo
• Manages both positive and negative news/review communications in collaboration with the Customer Service and Marketing teams
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS

• Working knowledge of Instagram, TIKTOK, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media best practices
• Familiar with social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns
• Excellent multi-tasking skills

• Strong Mac computer skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Creative flair, originality, and strong visual sense

• Work independently and be self-disciplined to meet objectives

• Team player with the ability to contribute ideas and offer feedback

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop
• Photography skills including lighting, focus, and composition
• Digital photo editing and manipulation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Normal business days are Monday through Friday. Work hours will be assigned in advance.

TRAVEL

Minimal local travel

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years of social media and campaign management, writing, and content creation

• Working knowledge of Instagram, TIKTOK, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media best practices
• BA Degree in Marketing or related field OR minimum 3 years of industry experience
