Summary:

The Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers and partners in the design, integration, and validation of off grid solar power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and experience in the design and operation of solar power systems.

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical support to customers and partners in the design and installation of off grid solar power systems

· Develop and maintain customer and supplier relationships

· Conduct technical training for customers and partners

· Stay abreast of new developments in off grid solar power system technologies

· Work with the sales team to develop conceptual designs and appropriately size solar arrays and batteries

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field

· Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies

· Experience with batteries or off grid solar power systems is desired

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong technical skills

· Ability to travel as needed
