As the Data entry clerk, you will build and maintain products in the reservations system (TTS), including hotels, flights, excursions, cruises, and other miscellaneous products. What You’ll Do:
Create and amend ITC packages and other products in reservation systems, based on details supplier contract, flight schedules, and margin criteria
Upload hotel contracts from the contracting system (PCS) into reservations system (TTS)
QC all entries and manually adjust as needed
Manually create/adjust all other products to reservation system (flights, excursions, transfers, insurance, etc.)
Provide inter-department support with specific reservation system procedures/requests
Research history of selling rates or cost rates
Manually adjust product for booking exceptions and new selling needs
Analyze costing components and selling prices for accuracy, adjusting where required
Review reports for accuracy and verification, while double-checking all work entries
- Verifying that pricing is correct and all products are available for sale
Ensure rates in reservation system are accurate and displayed effectively through all automated distribution channels (internal reservation system, our website, and Sirev)
Ensuring that selling and cost prices are accurate based on info from contracting system and margin guidelines
Test department functions in line with system upgrades
Ensuring that a full and complete test script is completed for all system upgrades
Ensure through day–to–day use that the system is performing as expected
What You’ll Need:
One (1) to three (3) years of work-related experience
Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform in adapting environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Time management skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to learn the systems and programs used
