Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and work in our new West Austin location.

Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Sunshine Neurofeedback is in need of a receptionist with a proven history of reliability, excellent customer service, and a caring, thoughtful mindset.

Above and beyond what many receptionists do on a daily basis, this position entails helping people to understand how neurofeedback works. It is a little complicated and therefore essential for our staff to have a thorough understanding of brainwave regulation and excellent verbal & written communication skills in order to properly education those who are interested.

Our receptionists also describe our unique payment structure, our home unit program, and help people understand the various ways we make it an affordable option.

Skills include:

• A kind, caring, and thoughtful manner with an abundance of patience.
• Confidence in effectively speaking over the phone, great communication skills when delivering email and text correspondence.
• Comfortable with welcoming clients into the office, and can easily display a friendly, positive attitude while maintaining a professional, calm environment.
• Ability to multitask, maintain a highly organized environment, and have excellent follow-through when keeping up with each individual client or inquiry.
• A keen eye for detail and precision when working in our CRM and scheduling software, also when creating invoices, taking payments, and inputting names and numbers.

Responsibilities include the following.

• Greet patients and alert staff of their arrival
• Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails
• Explain what neurofeedback entails when people call in with questions
• Discuss our various programs, pricing, and assist with on-boarding new clients
• Initiate Intake Forms and enter client information within our software & CRM
• Schedule appointments, phone consultations, and manage rescheduling
• Invoice and take payments when needed
• Oversee office supply inventory and create orders, arrange shipping & receipt
• Light cleaning and upkeep of reception area

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a paid lunch break

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
